- Our gage blocks are manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and inspected by the ASME B89.1.9-2002 standard, allowing for an accuracy of +/- 6 millionth for size under 1" block when used at room temperatures of 68 degrees Fahrenheit (or 20 degrees Celsius).
- The gage blocks are made of fully seasoned alloy tool steel with hardened to 65 RC to provide resistance to wear, abrasion, and rust.
- The measuring surface of the gage block are ground and micro-lapped to a mirror finished so the gage block can be wringable.
- Calibration certificate traceable to the N.I.S.T.
