The thread gauge ring must screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (Ausschuss)
- Reference Temperature: A temperature of 20°C applies to Werkstücke and Lehren
- Calibration & Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. Calibration is done in an independent lab following DIN, ISO, ANSI standards on IAC-Gewindescanner
