The DC Motor Phidget allows you to control a single DC motor (up to 25 A) or DC linear actuator. It uses high-frequency pulse-width modulation to achieve smooth operation. This Phidget connects to your computer through a VINT Hub and is isolated for improved reliability. The board is designed with a number of safety features- polarity protection in case power is plugged in backwards, overcurrent protection in case of back-EMF spikes, and a settable Failsafe mode, which can turn off the controller if it loses communication with your program.
- Delivers 25A of continuous current to a single brushed DC motor.
- Supports closed-loop position control via the built-in encoder input.
- Built-in electrical isolation for enhanced system reliability.
- Ultrasonic PWM frequency (25kHz).
