- Kit includes a quality motor flusher, 5 gallon bucket and Lid, 1/6 HP pump, lift grate, and a 6 foot standard hose. Antifreeze is not included.
- -100 Marine antifreeze is recommended for maximum effectiveness and to prevent dilution. Automotive antifreeze is not recommened as it extremely toxic for the environment when you drain the engine of antifreeze and is also not the correct chemical formulation for boat engines.
- Most boat manufacturers recommend filling up the fuel tank with gas to prevent water condensation which can freeze over the winter, and adding fuel stabilizer to prevent buildup. Start by flushing out the engine with clean water to properly warm up the engine and circulate the oil before filling with antifreeze by connecting the flusher and any hose to a water source.
- Please check with your engine manufacturer to determine whether the engine should be drained before filling with antifreeze. Please also check wether or not to leave the antifreeze in for the winter or to drain that as well.
